100 Top Resources for Your Life and Ministry

“Want to change lives?”

That’s the four-word summary of my passion that drives everything I do with RPM Ministries: “Want to change lives?”

I want to equip God’s people to change lives. I know that’s not as “user-friendly” or “seeker-sensitive” as many more self-absorbed questions.

However, I have faith that people of faith want to change lives with Christ’s changeless truth.

Of course, I’m certainly not the only person passionate about equipping. That’s why one of my commitments is to be a bridge-builder directing you to additional equipping sources.

I like to use the analogy from the movie Miracle on 34th Street. Remember how the Macy’s Santa shocked everyone by sending customers to the “competition” (Gimbels)? Why? Because for him it wasn’t a competition! Life was all about helping others to find what they needed.

That’s the passion behind my bridge-building, resource-providing ministry.

Ministry is not competition. We’re co-workers together. God’s resources are infinite. Human needs are close to infinite. Let’s work together, building bridges and pointing each other to the best sources for changing lives with Christ’s changeless truth.

John Piper (www.desiringgod.org) has done several sermons on depression, anxiety and the Christian faith. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for, but his book, ‘When The Darkness Will Not Lift’, got me through some very dark times in my own depression.

Keri, Thanks. Yes, that’s exactly the type of site I love. In fact, that’s why I list it in my blogroll. I tend not to list both a blog address and a website address with the hope that people will track back and forth between someone’s blog and website (if they are different). That allows me to have 100 different links instead of 50 repeated in both the blog section and the website section. Again, thanks for the recommendation of a great site! Bob

The Gillhams (Bill, Anabel, and Preston) are 3 of my favorite authors/teachers. Their ministry, Lifetime Guarantee, based in Ft. Worth has been a real blessing to many thousands of searchers and seekers during the past 30 yrs.

I started this blog last spring to be an encouragement for broken people looking for hope through Christ’s Gospel. I have enjoyed looking through the 100 websites. Thank you!
