I enjoyed the book as well.

I was challenged when he mentioned convicting, comforting and confirming. Made me do a review and alter some of my preaching, counseling and parenting.

I read Mike Emlet's book as well and found it helpful. I feel like CrossTalk is a great beginning book for anyone interested in discipleship, practical theology, and/or biblical counseling. It is broad enough to be instantly practical and is still deep enough in points to be a good resource/read for people who have been thinking about biblical counseling for awhile.
