Excellent review of the Heart of Addiction book. Very balanced. Biblical, yet very adaptable to the Christian Professional Counseling context. A must have!!!

Excellent review, Dr. Kelleman. Dr. Shaw's book is one of few which dispels some of the misconceptions and hopeless labels of secular addiction "experts." As someone whose life has been impacted by this book, I would highly recommend it, along with his book for loved ones of addicts, Divine Intervention.
