Enjoy Life Changing Seminars

Want to change lives?

I know you’re committed to being fully equipped to minister to God’s people for God’s glory.

I also realize that sometimes it is difficult to find a seminar that doesn’t feel like a waste of time, impractical, unbiblical, too academic, boring, or irrelevant.

That’s why I want to introduce you to five seminars that all share the same passion: to provide Christ-centered, comprehensive, compassionate, and culturally-informed ministry equipping so you can change lives with Christ’s changeless truth.

Each of these seminars has been field-tested in churches, para-church organizations, and college and graduate school campuses. They are biblical, practical, user-friendly, and interesting.

You will enjoy engaging biblical teaching, creative PowerPoint presentations, stirring vignettes, life-changing interaction, moving personal applications, and relevant ministry implications.  After reading the following summaries, please contact us to discuss attending or hosting an RPM Ministries Equipping Seminar: rpm.ministries@gmail.com or 219-662-8138.

Equipping Counselors for Your Church: How to Implement the 4E Ministry Training Strategy

Why You’ll Want to Participate

You’re passionate about equipping God’s people for every-member-ministry as biblical counselors. However, you’re tired of seeing great effort expended on “programs” that don’t launch, don’t last, or don’t result in leaving a legacy of loving leaders. So am I. That’s why this seminar
teaches you a biblical, field-tested, best-practice approach to equipping God’s people for biblical counseling using the “4E” ministry training strategy of envisioning, enlisting, equipping, and empowering godly ministers for ministry.

What You’ll Learn

Upon successful completion of this interactive seminar, you will be able to:

1.   Envision God’s Ministry: Jointly create mission, vision, passion, and commission (MVP-C) statements that nourish the compassion, conviction, and connection needed to launch flourishing biblical counseling ministries.

2.   Enlist God’s Ministers for Ministry: Mobilize ministers by nurturing a family and building a team prepared for change, skilled in conflict resolution, and connected to the MVP-C Statement.

3.   Equip Godly Ministers for Ministry: Apply transformational training strategies that comprehensively address the “4Cs” of biblical content, Christ-like character, relational competence, and Christian community.

4.   Empower Godly Ministers for Ministry: Oversee the ongoing “organizing of the organism” by leading ministries that are built to last, that grow from good to great, and that leave a legacy of loving leaders.

*Be empowered by the heroic sisters of the Spirit to be powerful spiritual friends.
*Be enriched by past wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters concerning how to nurture and enjoy godly living in the home.
*Be enlightened to apply proven ways to help people find healing hope in the midst of deep pain.
*Be enabled to minister more effectively in cross-cultural settings by uncovering the buried treasure of wisdom contained in the legacy of women soul care-givers and spiritual directors.
*Be encouraged to skillfully practice the historic soul care and spiritual direction arts of sustaining, healing, reconciling, and guiding.
*Be equipped to build healing communities where Christians find courage and comfort in God and each other.

  1. I am not currently scheduled, but I am open to considering a seminar if a church or group of churches are interested…

  2. Bob,
Not sure if you remember but Mark Wood introduced you to me at the counseling conference in February at Lafayette. I have been seeking to establish biblical counseling in Columbus, OH and one avenue I have chosen is to have our church host an annual conference. We had our second conference in October with Rob Green and look forward to our third in October, 2014 with Stuart Scott. It is not a large venue (goal of 100+ attenders in 2014), but something we desire to see God build each year. I would love to have you, if possible, consider coming to be our speaker for October, 2015. I know that is nearly two years away, but it allows us to plan appropriately and promote it more effectively. It would involve a Friday night and Saturday morning and afternoon. You would speak about five sessions, each about one hour. What I like to do is have you make several suggestions on a theme and then I choose one that I believe would best match our direction/aim. The weekend in October is normally the first or second, but if this is a conflict we could flex a little. Please contact me with any questions to might have. Our church phone number is 614-792-7775.

    Sincerely,
    Jim Stevanus
